For the second year Cadillac Mountain Sports in Bar Harbor will sponsor their race series through the Bar Harbor YMCA. The series includes three 5k races all beginning and ending at the YMCA located at 21 Park St. in Bar Harbor at 9a.m.. Each race takes place on a holiday with Rolling Bones being on Halloween, The Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving, and the Resolution Race taking place New Years Day.
The goal of the series is to provide individuals healthy active endeavors during a season more known for its food and splurging. A 3.1 mile out and back course gives everyone from running enthusiasts to walkers a reason to be active during the holidays.
Prizes are awarded to individual winners as well as age group winners.
Rolling Bones – Halloween, 9:00am
Turkey Trot – Thanksgiving Day, 9am
Resolution Run – New Years Day, 9am
